Job Overview
We are looking for a versatile and hands-on AI Smart Person to serve as the key AI expert in our
Surat-based team. In this full-time on-site role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions
that power intelligent features across web, backend, and especially mobile applications on iOS and
Android devices.
You will focus on building smart mobile experiences — such as on-device AI for image recognition,
NLP/chat features, predictive analytics, personalization, or automation — while ensuring models run
efficiently on real iOS and Android hardware. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys
turning cutting-edge AI into practical mobile solutions in a growing organization located in Surat.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, train, optimize, and deploy machine learning & deep learning models for various
business use cases.
• Integrate AI features into iOS and Android mobile applications using platform-specific tools
(e.g., TensorFlow Lite for Android, Core ML for iOS).
• Optimize models for on-device inference to ensure low latency, low power consumption, and
good performance on mobile devices.
• Handle end-to-end mobile AI workflows: model conversion, quantization, testing on physical iOS
and Android devices, and troubleshooting device-specific issues.
• Build and maintain AI pipelines for mobile apps, including computer vision, NLP,
recommendation engines, or generative AI features.
• Collaborate with mobile developers, backend teams, and stakeholders to embed AI into cross-
platform or native apps.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance on real devices; perform testing across
different Android versions and iOS versions.
• Research latest trends in on-device AI, edge ML, and mobile deployment frameworks
(TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, ML Kit, etc.).
• Ensure ethical AI practices, data privacy (especially on mobile), and compliance with platform
guidelines.
• Document solutions and provide guidance to the team on mobile AI best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field (or
strong equivalent experience)
Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn) and ML frameworks (TensorFlow,
PyTorch).
• Hands-on experience with mobile AI deployment:
• TensorFlow Lite (for Android) and model optimization/quantization.
• Core ML and Create ML (for iOS).
• Experience integrating AI into iOS and Android apps — testing and running models on physical
devices.
• Knowledge of mobile development basics (Android Studio, Xcode, or cross-platform tools like
Flutter/React Native with AI plugins) is a strong plus.
• Understanding of on-device ML challenges: latency, memory constraints, battery optimization,
and hardware acceleration (GPU/NNAPI/Neural Engine).
• Familiarity with cloud-to-mobile pipelines, Git, and basic MLOps.
Soft Skills & Attributes:
• Excellent problem-solving skills, especially for device-specific debugging.
• Good communication to explain AI solutions to mobile developers and non-technical teams.
• Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working as the primary AI expert in Surat.
• Passion for mobile technology and staying updated with iOS/Android AI advancements.
Preferred:
• 2+ years of experience building and deploying AI features on iOS/Android devices.
• Portfolio showcasing mobile AI projects (e.g., on-device image classification, chatbots, or
predictive features in apps).
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, or edge computing.
