ApplyKar is operated by Boyen Haddin Consulting and Technology Pvt Ltd. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse jobs, submit an application, use a recruiter account or connect an available LinkedIn integration.

1. Information we collect

• Candidates: name, email address, phone number, location, experience, application answers, cover notes, uploaded CVs and information contained in those CVs.
• Recruiters: account details, company information, company logos, job listings and recruitment activity.
• Service records: consent records, application status, CV processing results, login and security records, and technical information such as IP addresses and request timestamps.

2. How we use information

We use information to process applications, provide recruiters with access to their applicants, maintain recruitment records and CV search tools, operate accounts, respond to support requests and prevent abuse.

CV text may be extracted and compared with job requirements. Location, experience and skill checks may affect eligibility or flag an application for review. These checks can be incomplete or inaccurate. Contact us if you believe your information or a result is incorrect.

Where optional AI screening is offered and you consent to it, extracted CV text and job requirements may be sent to OpenAI for matching. Obvious contact details are removed before sending, but other personal information may remain in the text. The application form explains this option when it is available.

3. Who can access your information

Applications and CVs are available to the recruiter responsible for the relevant job and authorized ApplyKar administrators. Recruiters may download application information for their recruitment work. Their subsequent handling of downloaded information is also subject to their own responsibilities and privacy practices.

Hosting, security and other service providers process information needed to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address fraud, abuse or security incidents.

4. LinkedIn connections

If you authorize an available LinkedIn integration, we process the account or Page identifiers, connection credentials and publishing records needed for the permissions you grant. Job content and links that you choose to publish may become publicly visible on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn sharing does not upload candidates' CVs to LinkedIn. Applications are submitted through ApplyKar. We do not use LinkedIn member data obtained through the Community Management API to build candidate profiles or enrich CV records.

You can revoke access through your LinkedIn account settings or use the disconnect option where available in ApplyKar. Disconnecting does not remove posts already published on LinkedIn. Contact us regarding deletion of connection-related records held by ApplyKar. LinkedIn also applies its own Privacy Policy .

5. Cookies and service providers

ApplyKar uses cookies and related mechanisms for sign-in, session management and request security. Blocking these may prevent some features from working.

We use Hostinger hosting and Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention. Turnstile may process device, browser and network information under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy . Service providers may process information in countries different from your own.

6. Retention and deletion

Application, CV and account records are retained for recruitment, service administration and applicable recordkeeping needs. Closing a job does not automatically delete its applications or CVs. You can contact us to request deletion or withdrawal of an application.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Records that must be retained for legal or security reasons, backup copies and copies already downloaded by recruiters may require separate handling.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, account permissions, restricted CV access, password hashing and upload checks to protect the service. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The updated version and its date will appear here.
