Product System Engineer

Key Responsibilities
• Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Analyse system logs, sensor data, and performance trends to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, optical, and embedded components to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation.
• Support testing, validation, and enhancement of system features and hardware components.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of parts and services.
• Assist in documentation, change management, and configuration control processes.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and service teams to drive product improvements.
• Take system-level ownership of products, focusing on performance, stability, and continuous enhancement rather than plant operations or EPC projects.

Required Experience & Skills
• Around 5 years of experience in engineering roles related to system maintenance, testing, integration, or product improvements.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following, along with working knowledge of the other:
o Camera-based / Optical Systems: Cameras, lenses, illumination, imaging sensors, calibration, and optical stability.
o Hardware–Software Integration: Debugging failures across hardware and software boundaries.
• Strong ability to analyse system behaviour, logs, and sensor data to diagnose issues.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and working with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, material properties, and assembly workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with PLM systems and configuration management is an added advantage.
