AWS Cloud & Platform Lead / Cloud Architect – Mumbai

Experience: 6–10 years overall, with 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud & Platform Lead / Cloud Architect to design, build and manage secure, scalable, highly available and automated AWS cloud platforms for enterprise digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design AWS Organizations, multi-account architecture and landing zones using Control Tower or equivalent.
Architect VPC, subnetting, routing, Transit Gateway, DNS, load balancing and hybrid connectivity.
Implement IAM, security, encryption, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub and AWS Config.
Design cloud-native solutions using EC2, EKS, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS, S3, ElastiCache and other AWS services.
Develop reusable Terraform modules and implement Infrastructure as Code at scale.
Build standardized CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or AWS-native tools.
Establish Docker, Kubernetes and Helm deployment patterns.
Drive high availability, disaster recovery, backup, RPO/RTO, resilience and production-readiness standards.
Establish monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and OpenSearch/ELK.
Drive cloud cost optimization through tagging, budgets, rightsizing and resource optimization.
Define cloud architecture standards, governance, security and engineering best practices.
Lead architecture reviews, troubleshoot complex production issues and mentor DevOps/cloud engineering teams.

Mandatory Skills: AWS, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, IAM, VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, ALB/NLB, WAF, EC2, EKS/ECS, ECR, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux, Networking, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/ELK.

Preferred: Banking/FinTech/Payments experience, regulated environments, hybrid cloud, high availability and disaster recovery, cloud governance, migration/transformation experience and AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
