CAD Design Engineer

Designation- CAD Design
Experience - 0.3 Months to 3 Years
Budget - 6 LPA
Employee Type - 3 Months (Extendable)

• Key responsibilities:
o Create quick solid models using 2D drawings & demonstrate best parametric modelling practice.
o Generate Creo assemblies, drafting & BOM.
o Reverse engineering. (Measure actual parts and redraw in AutoCAD, Create 3D models if need)
o Awareness of Tolerance stack up, GD&T, DFM.
o Basic knowledge of NEC/ IEC / ASME standards is an added advantage.
o Create first article inspection and approve parts (engineered finished jobs)
o Well known to Engineering materials.
o Candidate must be self-sufficient to review quality check of engineering deliverables mainly CAD- 2D/3D/BOM.
• Technical skills: Must have hands-on experience to work with Castings, Sheet metal, precise machined components, Injection molded plastic parts. Having exposure to tooling activities as covered in toolroom /manufacturing is an added advantage. Fair electrical engineering knowledge mainly on breakers, contactors, starters, fuse etc. will be an added advantage.
• Soft skills:
o Fair in verbal & written communications. (English, Hindi) Candidate must be fluent in anyone.
o Communicate day-to-day progress, track work details & discuss with technical leads, core project team members.
o Participate in global engineering meetings if needed for design reviews, project updates, and technical discussions.
o Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, testing, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Education requirements: Diploma /BE in, Mechanical / Production engineering
• Years of experience: Min.06 months / Max.3 years.
• CAD software / proficiency: Must have hands on Creo 11.0, AutoCAD, Windchill PDM. Oracle Item creation, BOM, Routing if known it’s an added advantage, not must.
• Preferred certifications: Creo 11, AutoCAD, Windchill, Oracle
• Work Location /Type of recruitment: Emerson Innovation Center Pune, Hinjewadi Phase2. Pune. Contract base: Max. 3months.
